amazing park views and easy access to local attractions
During my stay in a Standard Double Room with City View, I loved how everything, from Independence Square to the beautiful Parque General San Martin, was easily walkable, making my weekend explorations so enjoyable and stress-free.

Everything was superb during 3 days, liked its comfortable location adjacent to the downtown area of Mendoza, the night life and Mendoza for five days. A double room with an absolutely stunning view of the mountains and the breakfast, had requested this in advance. The service was very good, the food was outstanding...

The truth you're looking for
I was thoroughly impressed ! The elegant lobby and spacious rooms with mountain views created a perfect ambiance. The complimentary wine tasting added a special touch, and the breakfast was indeed a feast fit for royalty. Friendly staff. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

You felt like you were a privilaged guest. My trip had to be re-routed due to the volcano in southern chile. I booked the hotel once I clarified I was able to fly out of mendoza. The booking was a non- refundable. The day I was to travel from santiago via bus, the road was closed, hence no trip. I called th hotel & it was no problem to transfer the day. This is what we travellers remember.........superior service and understanding.thank you Diplomatic Hotel, Gary & Ingrid.

The city views were fine from my room, and the staff were pretty good too resolve issues. Breakfast was particularly enjoyable with a wide variety.
I also experienced a lack of attention to maintenance, disappointing.

Very spacious restaurant and a good breakfast, at least by Argentine standards. Big jugs of fresh orange juice, a good quality bubbly, scrambled eggs, good pastries. Medio-lunas and coffee were not up to standard and espresso was a steep 18 pesos extra.
Many small luxuries one expects in a 5-star hotel were absent. For example, no face towels, no bath mat, no basin plug, no tissue box even ........I could list more..!! Floor polished wood, no carpet or rugs. Having said that the room was a good size, the bed was huge and very comfy. Internet in room charged extra..!!

I had a fantastic time relaxing by the seasonal outdoor pool and enjoyed a rejuvenating massage during my stay. The bathroom could use some sprucing up, but overall, the spacious room made it a comfortable retreat. Don't forget to try the special three-course meal at the restaurant, it's amazing! 🌟

The front desk staff was very helpful and recommended very good restaurants both nights. The beds were very comfortable. The view was nice. The location was very close to everything, we walked to restaurants, bars, and the park.

everything is new at this place.
Staff is a litle bit arrogant

missingWrote a review on 24 Julunhelpful serviceno iron availability
I can't believe the level of service we experienced. The front desk was completely unhelpful when we arrived, and it seemed like we were ignored. To make matters worse, there was no iron in the room, and they charged us for the ironing service! That's ridiculous for a supposed five-star hotel. We expected much better, and it was disappointing.

The concierge, Martin, was wonderful. He booked two nice days of wine tasting and suggested a wonderful restaurant for dinner. The front desk staff is helpful, also.
The bathtub was very small.
